The present technical note has describes the general design of the Program's evaluation in rural areas, as well as the sampling methods, the data collection and entry, and the structure and management of the databases resulting from this evaluation. Some strategies are also suggested for data analysis, according to the proposed designs.

This information provides a general framework for the analysis of evaluation databases of the Oportunidades program in rural areas.
